He Chan Pian acts on detoxification, resolving phlegm, cooling blood and removing masses. It has significant efficacy on antitumor of wide spectrum in clinic. It is characterized as,
1. Inhibit tumor growth. This product contains Ganchanpi (Skin of Bufo bufo Gargarizans), Xianhecao (Agrimonia Pilosa Ledeb), Renshen (Panax Ginseng), Shengbanxia (Unprocessed Rhizoma Pinelliae), Tinglizi (Semen Rescurainiae), Zhebeimu (Fritillaria Thunbergii), Yuxingcao (Houttuynia Cordata Thunb.), Maozhuacao (Radix Ranunculi Ternati), etc. Except tumor in respiratory system (such as lung carcinoma, laryngeal carcinoma, nasopharynx carcinoma and pulmonary metastatic carcinoma) and mediastinal region, clinical study indicates that this drug has apparent efficacy on carcinoma of brain, bone, liver, gallbladder, pancreas, kidney, urinary bladder and pancreas; malignant lymphoma, thyroid carcinoma, leukemia, lupus erythematosus, etc.
